Welcome to Verwood Family Church!
We are a group of Christians drawn together by a common faith in Jesus Christ. We believe He died on the cross and on the third day rose again. We believe Jesus rules and reigns with God in heaven, and through His Holy Spirit He moves and works in the lives of believers today.We believe that because of Jesus' sacrifice our sins, faults and failures are forgiven; that when we put our trust in Him we are given a new beginning; and at the end of our lives, we will join Him in heaven when we die.
We are part of the ever-growing Newfrontiers network of churches - with over 700 churches in 60 nations, and are known for social action and ministry to the poor, both in the UK and overseas.
So that's us! You'll find us every Sunday at 9.45am for a 10.00am start in the Merryfield Theatre, at The Hub, Verwood. We begin with a time of praise and worship led by our worship band, followed by practical and clear preaching based on the bible. Every four weeks or so we celebrate Communion.
Small groups
We run small groups on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Our youth group, Focus, meet every other Sunday evening with a social once a month.Please feel free to get in touch with us for information via the contact page.
